John Matra As SVP of Business Development at Waterfall Mobile, Inc., John oversees the company's business development and sales efforts targeting wireless carriers, advertising agencies, national brand advertisers, and major media companies. Based out of New York, he leads the company's East coast operations and brings more than 15 years of experience in mobile and digital media, with extensive expertise building strategic, revenue-generating partnerships. Prior to joining Waterfall Mobile, John was the VP of Sales at Motricity, where he focused on licensing mobile technology platforms to wireless carriers, agencies and media companies including NBC Universal, Fox Broadcasting, Sony BMG, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Conde Nast. John co-founded GoldPocket Wireless in July 2006, a mobile technology company that was acquired by Motricity. At GoldPocket Wireless, John oversaw business development, sales and carrier relations. He received his J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and a B.S. in Business Administration from USC. |
