Praveen Kalamegham Praveen Kalamegham is the VP of Engineering at Waterfall Mobile. His extensive experience in secure software development runs the gamut from embedded systems to operating system development, middleware system management and web application programming. Praveen has worked in architectural and development roles for several prominent companies including IBM and Sun Microsystems, as well as three successful startup companies: Posita Technologies, Praetorian Solutions and NextIO. While at Posita Technologies, Praveen designed a real-time embedded operating system for remote telemetry of energy securities trading data. He moved on to enterprise level operating system development for both Solaris and AIX during his tenure at Sun Microsystems and IBM, respectively. At Praetorian Solutions, Praveen continued to leverage his core experience to design management solutions for clients in industries ranging from network appliances to web portals. Praveen has submitted several patent applications in the area of software management and operating system runtime debugging (currently held: Issue No. 7444268). He also has contributed to various open source projects including the Linux kernel. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. |
